Solplanet has released its ASW350K-HT three-phase solar inverter, a 350 kW device with a maximum efficiency of 99.01% for utility-scale PV projects in India.
Solplanet, a China-based inverter manufacturer, has unveiled a three-phase 350 kW solar inverter for large-scale PV installations in India.
The maximum operating input current of the ASW350K-HT inverter is 75 amps, ensuring compatibility with large PV modules. A high conversion efficiency of over 99% ensures that most of the energy produced by solar panels is effectively converted into usable power, minimizing energy loss.
The inverter has six independent MPPT inputs (Maximum Power Point Tracking) and a maximum of five PV strings can be connected per MPPT input.
The inverter features an anti-potential-induced degradation (PID) function for PV modules, smart IV curve diagnosis, PV string monitoring, powerline communication (PLC) to reduce extra cabling, and a reactive power function for nighttime use.
The inverter, which has IP66 and C5-M ratings, is resistant to dust, water and corrosion and ensures reliable performance in harsh environments, including coastal and industrial environments. It also features DC and AC terminal temperature sensing, can handle fluctuating grid conditions and features smart DC connector disconnection.
In addition, Solplanet produces on-grid inverters for the residential and commercial sectors. Nikhil Reddy, marketing manager for Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia and India at Solplanet, noted the significant potential in India thanks to government initiatives such as Prime Minister Surya Ghar Yojna’s rooftop PV program and PM KUSUM’s solar panel program for farmers.
“Solplanet products are [Bureau of Indian Standards] approved and supplied through a distribution network in India,” said Reddy. “While the company has manufacturing facilities in China, it may set up a local facility to support Indian consumers based on business demand.”
The company claims that itz has a strong footprint in Europe, as well as a presence in more than 40 countries with a dedicated sales and service network.
