SolarEdge and Enstall have announced a new partnership with CPA company Novogradac & Company and Incentive Marketplace Crux. Through this collaboration, the entities offer a solution for developers and business owners who navigate through domestic benefits for tax taxes. The approach was designed to simplify the compliance process for the IRS bonus credit for domestic content and to offer a direct path for generating money credits.
Meeting the requirements for domestic content under the optional subject and cancellation period 2025-08 has been a challenge for some developers who work on multi-home units (MDUs), apartment buildings and large C&I projects on the roof. The new solution helps to eliminate the complexity around the new guidelines by combining due diligence, compliance validation and income with tax credit in a uniform process. Available under this approach are SolarEdge’s C&I products and Enstall’s Panelclaw, Ironridge, Ecofasten Flat and Pitched Roof Products.
A simplified path for compliance with domestic content
To help developers and business owners in compliance with the IRS, SolarEdge and Enstall Novogradac & Company have engaged to carry out an agreed procedure (AUP) report. This report deals with procedures with regard to the domestic content that is eligible for SolarEdge products and the reversal of products that help streamline the necessary diligence for potential buyers of investment tax credits (ITC).
“SolarEdge’s inverter and optimizer solutions made by the US are designed for C&I to be eligible to be eligible for domestic content, after they have already reached Baba-Compliance in our commercial product lines,” said John Carroll, VP of C&I Sale for SolarEdge. “This collaboration goes one step further with the domestic content by simplifying the complex compliance and income processes for our customers.”
