In the latest edition of Projects weeklyWe emphasize the new 100 MW solar project from Savion in Oklahoma. In addition, Nevados Trackers Power California Wine Bottle Factory, a project of 100 MW land in Arkansas, a VFW chapter in New Orleans benefits of solar energy and more. Read on for the latest Solar Project News.
Savion LLCA Shell Group Portfolio Company, started commercial operation of the Kiowa County Solar Project (KCSP) in Kiowa County, Oklahoma. The 100 MW solar facility is the first project of the company that is being developed, built and owned by Savion in Oklahoma.
“Bringing Savion’s Operational Assive Print to Kiowa County Solar Project and our mission underlines to own and exploit solar facilities that contribute to the American Power Grid Energy Infusion,” said Nick Lincon, president of Savion. “Launching this project is a new milestone on the trip of Savion to become an independent power producer, with more facilities.”

Cool factor: Construction started in August 2023 and was closed in December 2024 for the 1,235-Acre project, which includes more than 189,000 bifacial solar panels. Located in southwestern Oklahoma, adjacent to the city of Snyder, the solar project is expected to produce enough energy to feed around 21,000 Oklahoma houses every year in the next 40 years. Shell Renewable Asset Management International (SRAMI) supervises the assets of the assets of the project site.
A long-term PPA is equipped with a Fortune 100 technology company for purchasing the full 100 MW capacity generation of solar energy of the facility. EPC services were managed by SOLV Energy. The project will connect to each other in an AEP under station and connect to the Southwest Power Pool.
US-Made Nevados Solar Trackers Power Ardagh’s California Wine Bottle Factory
Ardagh Glass Packaging-North America Fourth the completion of the 13 MWDC solar project that will soon be Madera, California, facility with clean energy.
“This renewable electricity project in Madera is proof of the dedication of Ardagh for sustainability,” said Brian Brandstatter, president and CEO of Ardagh Glass Packaging-North America (AGP-North America). “In addition to protecting the environment, we invest in our local community and our customers. By improving our sustainability efforts, we ensure long -term value, reliability and cost -effective solutions for the brands that trust us. This initiative underlines our dedication to be a responsible and progressive manufacturer of glass containers in California. ”
Cool factor: The Madera Solar Field, built, owned and managed by Longroad EnergyWill deliver renewable energy to the Glass production facility of Argagh, accounting for around 20% of the electricity story of the facility. In collaboration with Longroad, partners who have made the solar facility a success, first solar energy, Valta -Energy, McCarthy -Building Companies, Nevados and AC Electric Company.
Ardagh strives to add renewable energy in the regions in which we work to further reduce our CO2 footprint. In 2019, Ardagh worked together with KDC Solar on a state-of-the-art tanning field At Ardagh’s Bridgeton, New Jersey, Glass Production Facility.
Treaty Eiken Schone Energy breaks Grond Redfield Solar Project in Arkansas
Treaty Oak Clean Energy LLC Van Austin, Texas, in addition to local officials, leaders of economic development and community leaders, celebrated the ceremonial groundbreaking of the 100 MW Redfield Solar Project in Grant County, Arkansas.
“This project is much more than a solar facility,” said Chris Elrod, co -founder and CEO of the Oak Clean Energy Convention. “It is an important investment in the people, companies and the future of Grant County. From the start, our goal was to be a good neighbor, to work closely with provincial leaders, local companies and residents to ensure that this project benefits the entire community. ”

Cool factor: The solar facility comprises 1,033 hectares in southeastern Grant County and will create around 200 building jobs and generate more than $ 10 million in income from real estate tax during its lifetime. The total energy of the project will be purchased by a single offtaker via a long -term PPA. Commercial activities are planned to start in the first half of 2026.Primoris Services Corp.’s Renewable Energy Business will lead the construction, with high -voltage services supplied by Dashiell Corp.
The Redfield Solar Project will include materials manufactured by Arkansas, strengthen the local supply chains and maximize the economic benefits throughout the state. The steel for the advanced Nexpracker NX Horizon-XTR site-following solar tracker systems will come from the Big River Steel Mill from US Steel in Osceola, while important components such as connectors and harnesses are supplied by Premier PV in Crossett.
As part of its dedication to the community, Treaty Oak presented a donation of $ 100,000 to the granting of district library director Jessica Reeves and Judge Pruits to support the renovation of the Grant County Library.
Authorized by Licht installs Solar for New Orleans VFW Hall
Authorized by Light has just completed his first project in the Big Easy. The only veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) from New Orleans are just reliable, renewable solar energy and energy storage. The position has been a source for veterans and their families who have been living and visiting the city since 1974. After Hurricane Ida in 2021, members of the function supplied 1,800 meals to neighbors, veterans, energy workers and people in need.
“This solar installation helps the city to make it more resilient and enables Nola VFW to offer safe, reliable and safe charging and cooling stations for people in need after extreme weather events,” said Kevin York, Nola VFW Commander. “Reliable, predictable access to power enables our members to expand and expand our efforts to help more people in need.”

Cool factor: For this project, Empowered by Light (EBL) worked together with two regional energy companies – Visits And Solar -AlternativesTo install a 10 kW PV array with 18 kWh battery energy storage, which saves the VFW about $ 1,400 per year in utility costs. In addition to the considerable compensation of the center’s electricity consumption, the solar energy system has been designed to provide electricity services for an indefinite period of time during prolonged raster failure, so that the VFW center can continue to work and offers critical services to members of the community and veterans during natural disasters and other emergency situations.
Everyone Solar Aids Lorge School in NYC with Solar Installation
Everyone Solar works together with The Lorge SchoolA non -profit organization that focuses on enabling students with special needs to install a 37.26 kW of solar array on the campus in New York City.
“If an institution that encourages leadership at every step of a student’s journey, we also lead the way to a more sustainable future by implementing more green energy infrastructure in our building,” said Harry Gonzalez, executive director of the Lorge School. “In addition to offering students the opportunity to learn about sustainability, every dollar saved from conversion to solar energy to educational programs for students will.”

Cool factor: The solar project will generate 40,525 kWh of electricity annually. This initiative is intended to integrate environmental consciousness into the curriculum and to lower energy costs. The school serves a diverse range of families, reflects their community. In particular, special education offers people with learning disabilities, emotional disabilities or other health disorders.
