With the Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy that requires feedback on how to structure the purchasing of the capacity of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), the regulatory uncertainty can prevent investors from it.
The Ministry is planning a battery-dedicated grid capacity reserve in June and has held a public consultation exercise.
