OpenSolar has announced that it is now integrating with SolarApp+, the automated and direct permit tool that transforms solar goods inspection in the United States.
Allowing can add $ 3,800 to $ 4,500 to the installation costs of a typical solar system on the roof. This partnership lowers delays allowing, accelerates projects with an average of three weeks and reduces the costs of delivering solar energy to customers.
A non -profit initiative, SolarApp+ eliminates the permits of bottlenecks by automating plan reviews and compliance controls – providing direct approvals in participating areas of law. Now OpenSolar users can seamlessly connect projects to SolarApp+ and follow permits in one streamlined system.
“Rompling has kept solar energy for too long,” said Andrew Birch (“Birchy”), OpenSolar CEO and co-founder, and co-founder of SolarApp+. “With SolarApp+ fully assumed, I see the American solar costs falling to $ 1.70/W – half of today’s installation costs.”
SolarApp+ adoption is now increasing and has been embraced in 275 areas of law in 13 states. Check which jurisdictions use SolarApp+ here and to expand Help SolarApp+ by contacting contact@gosolarapp.org.
