Texas-based solar panel manufacturer Mission Solar Energy has announced that it will now begin assembly large size solar panels for utility and commercial projects. The panels are made with polysilicon from Korean parent company OCI Holdings.
“With more than 10 years of experience in solar energy manufacturing, we have a very loyal customer base that trusts the quality and reliability of Mission Solar products,” said Sam Martens, president of Mission Solar Energy. “These new products are a direct response to customers who have asked us to serve this industry segment.”
The new panels include a 550W PERC bifacial panel with a transparent backplate and one with a double-glazed design. Both use 144 half-cut M10 cells with nine rails. In addition, there is a 590W double-glazed TOPCon bifacial panel that uses 144 half-cut M10 cells with 16 multi-wire rails.
