Developer of renewable energy Vesper Energy The last module installed on his Hornet Solar Project in Swisher County, Texas. Composed of more than 1.36 million PV panels that generate 600 MWAC capacity, Hornet Solar is installed over six square miles.
Once fully operational, the Hornet Solar Project will supply sufficient renewable energy to provide power to 160,000 houses per year.

The Hornet Solar Project has mounted bifacial photovoltaic modules on a tracking system with one axis. The project is interconnected with the transmission system of Oncor Electric within ERCOT and has been contracted to deliver electricity to four off-take partners through individual virtual power purchase agreements.
The Hornet Solar Project remains on its way to achieve full commercialization by the spring of 2025.
