EagleView announced the launch of its new ecosystem for real estate data. The ecosystem features more than 60 petabytes of asset data derived from high-definition aerial imagery. EagleView’s real estate data ecosystem includes roof measurements and attributes such as properties and roof condition, structure identification, and solar suitability information at the parcel level. The data is extracted using artificial intelligence.
Solar installers and roofers can assess the suitability of solar energy for a range of properties, as well as the roof age and roof condition of individual properties to better identify roofing and solar prospects, design optimized PV systems, calculate installation costs and generate accurate solar project proposals. .
The real estate data ecosystem is further expanded through critical alliances with strategic analytics providers that broaden the depth, scope and usefulness of EagleView’s high-resolution imagery data. This asset intelligence is then directly accessible to customers through the provider’s API integration into their own systems, workflows and decision models. EagleView ownership data can be customized to specific customer use cases.
“We have a significant data warehouse with precise asset intelligence, with data derived from 25 years of proprietary aerial photography. In addition to leveraging our 3 billion images covering more than 94% of the U.S. population, we have formed the best real estate data alliances to complement and enhance our offerings,” said Piers Dormeyer, CEO of EagleView. “Now is the right time to bring this unparalleled real estate information resource to the marketplace and allow innovators to scale its capabilities.”
