PVHardware USA (PVH), a global solar tracker manufacturer based in Houston, is supplying its AxoneDuo Infinity solar trackers for Energix renewable energy sources‘Northumberland Solar Project in Milton, Pennsylvania.
The 78 MW Northumberland Project, owned and operated by Energix, is poised to generate enough electricity to power more than 15,000 homes. PVH pre-assembles its trackers, reducing the number of components delivered to solar construction sites and shortening installation time. Additionally, 70% of PVH’s solar tracker components are manufactured in the United States, allowing solar project developers to meet domestic content qualifications.
“Our partnership with Energix demonstrates the importance of the U.S. domestic manufacturing supply chain, with PVH working hand-in-hand with Energix to ensure a successful long-term partnership,” said Rodolfo Bitar, VP of business development for PVH USA. “This partnership solidifies PVH’s position as the leading supplier of solar trackers in the United States and underscores our commitment to supporting large-scale renewable energy projects.”
The Northumberland Project is Energix’s second project in Pennsylvania, following the 105 MW Adams Project and others in Virginia. The Northumberland Solar Project, due for completion in 2025, will consist of approximately 170,000 solar panels.
“It is exciting to be part of a project that will not only help increase renewable energy capacity in Pennsylvania, but also underscore Energix’s commitment to the clean energy transition in the United States. We are excited to collaborate with PVH on this project, and pleased to find a partner who shares our passion for creating sustainable, reliable and affordable energy solutions for communities across the country,” said Itamar Sarussi, Deputy CEO and CCO of Energix Renewables.
